House Policies
Studio Experience
Valdera Pilates is a refined Pilates studio offering heated and non-heated mat Pilates and sculpt-based classes. Classes emphasize strength, control, and intentional movement. Modifications and progressions are offered to support a range of experience levels.
Voluntary Participation & Client Responsibility
Participation in classes at Valdera Pilates is voluntary. Clients are responsible for assessing their own physical readiness and limitations prior to participation. Clients are encouraged to consult with a physician or qualified healthcare provider before beginning any fitness program, particularly if they have pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or concerns.
Clients are responsible for informing instructors of any physical limitations, injuries, or medical conditions prior to class.
Equipment & Amenities
Valdera Pilates provides premium mats, towels, and all required class equipment.
Grip socks are required for all classes for safety and hygiene. Grip socks are available for purchase in-studio.
A hydration station is available for client use. Clients are encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle.
Arrival & Late Entry
Clients are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class start time to allow for check-in, setup, and a calm start to the session. Late entry may be restricted once class has begun in order to preserve the experience for all participants.
Attire
Comfortable, form-fitting athletic wear is recommended to allow instructors to support safe alignment and movement. Grip socks are required in the studio space.
Heated Classes
Heated classes are typically maintained between 85–90°F, depending on class format. Non-heated classes are offered regularly.
Booking Windows
Booking access is determined by membership or package type:
Annual Members may book up to 14 days in advance
Monthly Unlimited Members may book up to 7 days in advance
Class Pack and Drop-In clients may book up to 72 hours in advance
Bookings and waitlists remain open until class start time, subject to availability.
Waitlist Policy
When a class reaches capacity, a waitlist becomes available.
If a client is enrolled from the waitlist more than 12 hours before class start, standard cancellation rules apply, and the client may cancel up to 12 hours prior without penalty.
If a client is enrolled from the waitlist within 12 hours of class start, the client may cancel without penalty up to 1 hour before class start.
Cancellations made after the applicable window or failure to attend will be subject to standard late-cancellation or no-show penalties.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
All standard bookings must be canceled at least 12 hours before class start time.
Late cancellations or no-shows result in the following:
Unlimited Memberships: $20 late-cancellation or no-show fee
Class Packs and Drop-Ins: One class deducted
Penalties are applied automatically. Reinstatements are not guaranteed.
Membership Terms
Annual Membership
Annual Memberships require a 12-month commitment and are billed monthly. Annual memberships may not be frozen, paused, canceled, transferred, or refunded under any circumstances.
Monthly Unlimited & Founding Memberships
Monthly Unlimited and Founding Memberships are billed month-to-month and may be frozen or canceled at any time. Changes take effect in accordance with the billing cycle. No prorations or refunds are provided for unused time.
Class Packs & Drop-Ins
Class packs and drop-in purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Class packs expire according to the terms communicated at purchase. Unused classes are forfeited upon expiration.
Photography & Recording
Valdera Pilates may photograph or record classes and studio activities for promotional, marketing, or instructional purposes. Clients may opt out of photography or recording by notifying studio staff.
Studio Etiquette
Clients are expected to maintain a respectful and calm environment. Mobile devices should be silenced during class. Shoes are not permitted in the studio space. Personal belongings should be stored in designated areas. Respect for instructors, staff, and fellow clients is expected at all times.
Liability Waiver
Participation in classes requires acceptance of Valdera Pilates’ Informed Consent, Assumption of Risk, and Waiver of Liability. Formal acceptance is required during booking.
